“Life on the farm or life in the city?”

🎶New York is where I’d rather stay. I get allergic smelling hay. I just adore a penthouse view. Darlin I love you but give me Park Avenue🎵

But they say Green Acres is the place to be!!!

Green acres is the place for me. Farm livin' is the life for me. Land spreadin' out so far and wide Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.

🥰

Well everyone went for it. 😂

city all the way! walking to places is so nice

Not necessarily farm or city. There’s a nice in between that’s perfect. ✨Small towns ✨

Used to live in a small town, probably the best setting to raise small children tbh

I didn’t read further down and saw many quoting the song. Lol

On the farm so long as there is not actual farming involved.

Plot twist: life in the mountains! 🏔️ 🌲

Okay SUPER WEIRD coincidence that today’s theme is farms… I opened lil snack as I’m currently watching the docu “the pig farm” (2011) about Robert Pickton, who was a serial killer local to me and… well, I don’t wanna involuntarily scar anyone here so if you’re interested he has a Wikipedia page 😬🫣

I've been listening to Animal Farm 🐷
life in the city when I was younger - but as Ive gotten older I like the quiet -.and would love to be surrounded by animals everyday
Suburbia gives a little of bth.
I stick with what I'm good at: City Life. Wouldn't wish me on a farm for my worst enemy.

I love the occasional fun day into the city, but I definitely could not live there. My subdivision is surrounded by farmland, but once a rural town, is now fast growing into a suburb. I really enjoy this type of median.

Farm, lived long enough in cities know I more than hate them, they actively made me unwell. Natural light, less gross air, and living where there are actually plants and trees cut my pain level in half.

The city for sure. I’m not good in the quiet of the suburbs, or not being able to walk to places I want to go to. Farm life is too far away from things for me.

I wish I could have a farm with a hundred goats. 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐

Goats are so adorable!

I love goats! A place near us does goat yoga, it's the coolest thing I've seen in a long time!
City, couldn't take living in a small town, too many people knowing everything about you.

fr. especially if your family’s the town pariah

Maybe something a bit in between. I despise big cities but working on a farm is extremely hard work. But I suppose I’d choose farm life!

I live in a town in the country which suits me fine

What was the ruler thing in the swap?

iirc the answer was "barnyard" so I guess that means within (and only within) the US "yard" is a common enough term for what the rest of the world would call either a yardstick, ruler, multi-millimetre-measurinator, knuckle-knocker or straighty-stick.

A red heel = chick??? Tell me men write this without telling me men write this

No, the K was after the shoe. It was "chic"

A little bit of both
Somewhere in between, honestly.

City, I've always lived centrally, couldn't change

I am definitely a city girl. I live by farms, and I can't do all of the work needed to maintain one.

Suburbs

Hmmmm…the smell of smog/pollution or the smell of manure?? Guess i’ll take the city. At least i can get a synthetic roast beef sandwich at Arby’s!!

I'd love to live on a small rescue farm where the animals are treated with love and care and not slaughtered. Horses, cows, pigs, goats maybe some chickens. I Love animals! But in reality I'm a city gal and always will be lol but at least I have a garden and pets

Life in the city
city girl forever :)

Farm, says the city dweller…

Farm...ranch actually

I miss living in the country, it was so peaceful. Also, why aren’t potatoes considered a comfort food?!?!
I put potatoes and it accepted them.

Potatoes make french fries!! Tell me THAT’s not comfort food??!!
City
It's the city life for me.

City

Farm
City life fs
Farms 🔥3 🧑🌾 🧑🌾 🧑🌾 🧑🌾

I love a little of both

Farm
City

Definitely life in the city

Farm... But hire people and no hurting the animals

Life on a farm with the income like a city life
life on the farm. who doesn't enjoy being around animals & fresh air!?

The latter.

Why not both?
Oh farm ! City's too noisy
Farm! It even smells better
