It very much does not. People from Northern Ireland may be Irish or British, but those from Ireland are Irish. There have been some scuffles about it, though as Hephaesta notes Wilde would have been a British national in his lifetime but did identify as Irish.

I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. The downwards game was Pokemon characters I used all three of my hints I was almost losing then my screen froze then it became England cities then it said only to find three England cities but it made me find them all wow
